Throwback Video: Drexel Frat Bro's Legendary Pregame Speech (Note: Bad Language)

The video above may not be known by all, but it deserves to seen by all (well, at least all 18 and over). It's amazing for a lot of reasons. I mean, I'm not going to lie, I fire this thing up everyone in a while just for laughs.

There are a lot of great things about it, namely the passion of the speaker. One can only assume he had crushed a few Nattie Lights to get properly amped for such a speech. There are questions I need answered, though:

1 - What were the implications of the game? Championship? Did the "Crows" win?

2 - What were the actual players thinking during the diatribe? Some appear to realize what was going on, while others seem intently tuned in. This guy below totally breaks kayfabe...he's in on it and knows this video will become legendary.

This guy...I'm not sure. He's smiling and veering off into the distance. I think he's stoned.

3 - What was the speaker doing after his graduation? Did he come over to the field after work? Was he just hanging out in the Frat House?

4 - Did the team ask him to give the pregame speech or did he just show up unsolicited?

Some key parts include the following:

0:10 - Speaker ends his intro and starts to address why they are all gathered. He's got my attention, I am in. Keep going.

0:20 - Speaker details exactly what f***ing matters to this crew. Totally left out the post game beers, but I get it. I'm still onboard here.

0:32 - Declares exactly who he wants to be with out on that field for the rest of his life. This is key...totally establishing how close-knit these guys are. Was expecting "If you passed out and near death from alcohol poisoning, I just won't step over you on my way to get a Wawa Shorti! I will drag you into a bathroom and possibly get you a bottle of water!"

0:38 - Whoooooa...."Out on that field we are gods!" Momentary slip-up here over-valuing the magnitude of this game...let's not go too far...stay with me damn it!

0:47 - I'm back onboard 100%..."Which is f***ing NEVER!"

0:55 - "Everyone is AFRAID to play this team!" Get me a wall to run through right now!

1:12 - "Out on that field, you take it and you LEAVE it!"....YOU JUST TELL ME WHERE TO SIGN!

I feel this video is worth at least a 30 for 30 Short. At a minimum, Drexel should have throwback jerseys available for this guy in the school store ( I think it's safe to say we ALL know what number he had on that jersey). Make it happen Drexel.
