Eintracht Frankfurt is proving to be more than just a "Big 3"

The trio of Luka Jovic, Sebastien Haller, and Ante Rebic deservedly gets a ton of credit for the phenomenal play that Eintracht Frankfurt has shown this season. The ridiculously talented threesome has garnered accolades and drawn praise as they have captured headlines throughout the season.

When you look at Jovic, you see a 21-year-old dynamo who has a nose for the goal and who has developed into one of the most effective strikers in Europe this season. Haller has taken his game to the next level as well as he has been equally impactful in setting players up as he is at scoring. Rebic, the fiery Croatian, brings a relentless and fighting spirit to match his talent on the pitch.

The supporting cast surrounding Jovic, Haller, and Rebic, however, is nothing to scoff at.

While many players on the Frankfurt roster have been overlooked, there is talent, experience, and leadership that has helped Adi Hutter mold the squad into a serious contender and one of Europe's most fun teams to watch.

The aforementioned trio of Jovic, Haller, and Rebic deservedly garners much of the attention that gets heaped on Die Adler, but the roster has much more to offer than the star power of "The Bug Three."

Filip Kostic has been a formidable part of the supporting cast offensively, while Mijat Gacinovic -- when healthy -- has been able to provide a nice complimentary spark offensively. The additions of Martin Hinteregger and Sebastian Rode (currently battling an injury) in January has made a significant impact. Rode, 28, and Hinteregger, 26, have brought experience and a veteran presence to the squad despite their relatively young ages. Meanwhile, Danny DaCosta and Jonathan de Guzman have made significant contributions through the season.

19-year-old Evan N'Dicka has become a pest defensively and shown a distinct knack and ability to disrupt opposing offenses with his physical presence and chippy demeanor. Kevin Trapp has settled in to be a dependable goalkeeper, who looks like he might be able to re-establish himself after a shaky 2018 performance with Die Mannschaft.

There is clearly something clicking under Hutter on this roster. The 49-year-old coach has found a way to make everything click in his first year at the helm after taking over for Niko Kovac's successful run as manager. Hutter is not getting nearly enough credit for his creativity and personnel management.

All of the feel-good nature and harmony associated with Frankfurt has translated to success on the pitch as well. Die Adler is unbeaten in its last 15 matches across all competitions and are clearly ready to square off with Benfica in the Europa League quarterfinals.

Make no mistake, Eintracht Frankfurt is a party right now and everyone is invited. The team is fun, exciting, has bundles of talent, and seems to have a genuine love for playing together. Die Adler may not win the Europa League and they may not win the Bundesliga, but Eintracht Frankfurt has undoubtedly been one of the best stories to follow all season.
